Seminole Christmas Party features Billy Ray Cyrus

Over 1500 Seminole Tribal members, staff and invited guests gathered at the Broward Convention Center, December 18, for the Tribe's Annual Christmas party. Headlining the entertainment for this year's bash was CNIA recording artist Billy Ray Cyrus. The "Achey Breaky Heart" man gave an exhilarating performance of ballads and country-rock numbers, graced by a fabulous laser light show and video screen. (continue...)

Hollywood Headstart and Child Care Presented the Christmas Story

It's that time of the year again, "Christmas" Hollywood Headstart Program presented "The Christmas Story" play at the First Seminole Baptist Church. The play gets better every year, all the children play a part in this program. I am sure it takes a lot of time and effort to put this play on every year for the Community. The Headstart Children put on a great performance and a lot of the credit should go to the teacher and staff who took time to practice with the children. Keep up the good work. (continue...)

Hollywood Community Party held at the new Tribal Office Auditorium

The Hollywood Community held their first Christmas party in the new Tribal Office Auditorium. The auditorium seats 500 people so there was plenty of room and space, also the stage is set with all the lighting fixtures and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The Hollywood Representatives, Max Osceola and Kevin Osceola stated the fact, that we have come along way from our last community gathering, which was always held at the gymnasium, now look how far the Tribe has come and we should be grateful for the things that are being accomplished by our Tribal Leaders and members. Yellowhammer-Live at Hollywood, Florida

Now Available On Compact Disc Taos, New Mexico -- Indian House is pleased to announce the release of several new CD's of traditional American Indian Music, including Yellowhammer - Live at Hollywood, Florida, recorded at the 24th Annual Seminole Powwow. Earlier this year, the independent label based in Taos, New Mexico, released its first CDS. After 29 years of producing highly-acclaimed cassettes and LPS, Indian House is now establishing itself as a significant presence in the CD market.
