Signs Subway® Franchise Agreement
By Lila Osceola
HOLLYWOOD — Lots of hard work, phone calls made and e-mails read; its all in a hard day’s work. That hard work paid off for The Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. on June 27 when the board teamed up with nationwide restaurant chain, Subway®.
The upcoming Hollywood Trading Post will host a Subway® eatery in the convenience store. President/Vice Chairman Moses Osceola signed the contract to own the rights to operate a Subway® Also present at the signing were: Business Development Manager Cheryl Bolton, the board’s Executive Administrator Jim Talik and Director of Leasing of Subway of South Florida Fre Ann Pittman.
“I am very happy to accept this concept, we are hoping for great things,” Osceola said as he signed paper after paper of the agreement.
This contract will not bind the board from putting a Subway® elsewhere. The board is looking into putting a Subway® in Immokalee, Ft. Pierce, Big Cypress and Brighton. For now, the first one will be in the Hollywood Trading Post, also known as the Hollywood Convenience Store.
